Propst to begin on Lake Sharpe

Propst Professional Anglers is set to kick off the season on Lake Sharpe in Pierre, South Dakota.

Lake Sharpe, the fish factory of South Dakota on the Missouri River System, is setting up for another awesome year of fishing. 2024 South Dakota GFP sampling, conducted on the lower portion of Lake Sharpe, provided an excellent report of an abundance of fish in the 15-20 inch range. This lines up for a great year for Propst Professional Anglers clients in the fish catching category! You can read more about Lake Sharpe’s 2025 fishing outlook from Midwest Lip Rippers here

Bob and Mason have begun fishing Lake Sharpe and are finding excellent results to the start the season. Pictured here is Mason with a limit, and Bob’s in the live well. Pitching light jigs with minnows has been a key early year proponent for Propst Professional Anglers.

Right now is a great time to set up your Lake Sharpe trip!
